Sculpture featuring palm fruiting stalks, palm fibre, paper, oil sticks and paints. It is stitched and coiled with a woven armature and moulded papers.
The concept is about the balance nd inter-reliance of all things on earth. The figures are grounded into an earth like base, sort of like tree roots but the base has a sense of a boat about it, needing to weather storms and survive being becalmed and beached.
