branch and stalks, echidna quills, seeds, wooden beads and other natural fibres and resin. Hand stitching, embroidery, beading, collage and Basketry techniques.
Concept: The inspiration for this series of work was a small bone I found when walking near the beach in Northern Queensland. I wanted to explore the theme by drawing up different designs and interpreting them using different media to more fully explore the possibilities of colour, texture and design.
