Hand Felted wool, beads, embroidery, mixed yarns and found objects. Techniques include cast paper mache` covered with a shell of cast felt, embellished with paint, stitched and manipulated.
Concept: The inspiration for this series of work was a small bone I found when walking near the beach in Northern Queensland. I wanted to explore the theme by drawing up different designs and interpreting them using different media to more fully explore the possibilities of colour, texture and design.
