This work started life as cocoons made from silks and natural fibres dyed in Australian native plant materials which were stitched around wire and hand coiled. I think of it as a growth but am not sure what I am trying to grow. Possibly it is a new way of thinking about things both personally and in the broader scheme of how humans function in the world.
